Dr. Knapp is a clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in adult and geriatric neuropsychology. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego in Oswego, New York, a Master of Science degree in Applied Educational Psychology and a Certificate of Advance Graduate Study, School Psychology Specialization from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and a Master of Arts degree and a Doctorate in Psychology from Argosy University/The Arizona School of Professional Psychology in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Knapp has worked in the public school system as a state and nationally certified school psychologist. She specialized in Neuropsychology as part of her doctoral studies. She has completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Neuropsychology Consultants in McKinney, Texas. Her fellowship included inpatient hospital training as well as outpatient neuropsychological assessments.
Dr. Knapp has experience working with children through adults who have a wide range of needs including various neurological disorders, dementia, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, strokes, brain/head injuries, complex medical and neurological problems, emotional-behavioral disorders, ADHD, development delays, and learning problems.
Dr. Knapp is originally from Central New York and moved to Arizona in 2000. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as her pets.
